My experience
Hello. My name is Ming Liu, I'm a digital creative. I am currently the Associate Creative Director at Blue Hive: an integrated agency of Ogilvy & Mather, Wunderman and Mindshare. Previously I was the creative director at Thin Martian, a digital creative agency where I was producing digital work for the likes of Microsoft, Bing, Xbox and LinkedIn.
I design, art direct and create.
I concept ideas for campaigns and fulfil them. I pitch, respond, present and innovate. My passion is in making digital look amazing, make digital work clever, and deliver emersive, engaging and fun experiences - all at the same time. I've been producing digital work for nearly 10 years.
Currently I'm managing a creative team to deliver innovation and class leading digital experiences for Ford of Europe. Watch this space...
At Thin Martian I co-managed/creatively directed a digital agency, managing a 20 strong team, art directing all the work coming out of the studio. I am now also a founding partner in a Twitter based social media company called Tweetminster, a news platform that uses data to curate news, trends and opinion.
From being briefed to beat Google to working pro bono for a cancer charity I can craft from zero or extend the reach of global brands. I've launched projects in 24 hours, art directed campaigns launched in 32 countries & 12 languages, designed direct marketing campaigns going out to millions.

Disrupt, engage, communicate: I love the challenge of creating original, ROI driven concepts.
I concept ideas, art direct & mentor designers. But I also design & build - I can code HTML5/ CSS/jQuery, use the Adobe CS5 Design Suites (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects, Indesign) for layout and proof of concept. I love being at the forefront of technology in our industry as it gives me insight into how I can implement our creative ideas - I practise what I preach.
